Description

Publisher’s Note

Shivarathri pooja book can also be referred for performing Shiva puja by the devotees. We have given pictures showing the method of doing pooja for each shlokaas and mantraas.

First comes the poorvanga pooja. This includes the preliminary steps involved before starting any pooja. Then comes the Vighnaeshwara pooja.

Following this, is the pradhaana Pooja that is Shiva Pooja. After completing the pooja, it is essential to offer dakshina to the priest or to any of the elders at home and take their blessings.

After giving dakshina, the shlokas given at the end may be recited and one may, according to the convenience, do the punarpooja the same day or the next day morning.

We sincerely hope that the devotees and readers get Lord Shiva’s blessings and attain fulfilment and happiness in their life.

In support of this book an audio is also available in the form of Cassette and Compact Disc, which will assist the devotees to follow and perform the Pooja easily.
