The author is a retired Central Government officer and a devotee of the Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur.

This booklet is the edited version of the article Swami Vivekananda and His Spiritual Daughter Sister Nivedita written by the author and published in the February 2015 issue of Bulletin of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata.

We are grateful to the editorial board of the Bulletin for granting us the permission to publish this article in form of a book.

Swami Lakshmidharananda has edited the text and Sri G. Jayakumar has done-the proofreading.

We hope the readers get an insight into the great minds of Swami Vivekananda and his 'spiritual daughter' Sister Nivedita and derive inspiration to understand and serve India and her people.
